Uncle Duncan was a gem.  As children my sister annmarie and I used to get so excited when he was coming from Germany to visit us. Our favourite thi g was bedtime when Uncle Duncan would tell us all ghost stories from when he was young.  We thought the stories were real because he was so animated with them.  He would finish the story and tell us to go to sleep now or whatever ghost he had been telling us about would be back 😆  we would sit chatting for a few minutes then the bedroom door would be thrown open and he would pretend d to be the ghost.  Needless to say, we went to sleep after that!
